The Courage to Teach - Book Reflection

The Courage to Teach, by Parker Palmer was a book that took me through many emotions as a facilitator of learning. This book provided an opportunity for deep reflection into the past mistakes we all make as facilitators. It is a great responsibility to essentially facilitate a learning environment. At times we struggle with feeling of inadequacy and lack of authenticity in a particular area. This feeling of vulnerability can be very empowering for both the learners and the facilitator.

I welcome you to review my personal reflection to Parker and the in-depth reactions of my own teaching and learning situations. This reaction relates to my own workplace situations and to what I have studied throughout my AET journey. The synthesis is a triad of my experiences, a reaction to the book, and criticaal reflection of what I have gained from your coursework to date.
